Payment Terms

All lessons must be paid in advance before sessions commence. Group classes operate on a monthly billing cycle requiring payment for 4 sessions in advance. One-to-one sessions must be paid prior to each scheduled lesson.

Cancellation by Student/Parent

No refunds will be provided for lessons cancelled by students or parents for any reason, including but not limited to:
• Illness or personal circumstances
• Schedule conflicts or changes
• Dissatisfaction with teaching methods
• Technical issues on the student's end (for online sessions)
• Weather conditions or transport difficulties

Cancellation by Becontree Tuition

Full refunds will be provided for any lessons cancelled by Becontree Tuition, including but not limited to:
• Teacher illness or unavailability
• Technical issues preventing lesson delivery
• Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control


Future Lesson Cancellations

Students wishing to discontinue future lessons must provide written notice at least 24 hours before their next scheduled billing date. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in charges for the upcoming billing period with no refund available.

Processing Fees

All approved refunds are subject to a £2 processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. This fee covers administrative costs associated with payment processing and account management.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 working days and returned via the original payment method used.

Trial Sessions
Trial sessions are non-refundable once completed, regardless of whether the student continues with regular lessons.

Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances, Becontree Tuition may, at its sole discretion, consider refund requests outside of this policy. Such decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

Policy Acceptance

By booking lessons with Becontree Tuition, students and parents acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by this refund policy.

Policy Updates

Becontree Tuition reserves the right to update this refund policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to current students and will apply to future bookings.

This policy is effective from the date of booking and forms part of our terms and conditions.
